RENOIR DRAWER Exhibition — Paris

March 17 – July 5, 2026 • Musée d'Orsay, Paris
Renoir Poster Draftsman 2026

For the first time, the Musée d'Orsay is dedicating a major exhibition to the drawings of Pierre-Auguste Renoir . Often overshadowed by his famous Impressionist paintings, his graphic works—sketches, studies, pastels, watercolors, and red chalks—yet reveal the importance of drawing in the evolution of his art.

Through around a hundred pieces from around the world , including several previously unseen , the public is invited to delve into the heart of the artist's creative process, to discover his research on light, form and color, as well as his ease in various techniques.

Co-organized with the Morgan Library & Museum , this exhibition offers a new reading of Renoir: that of a virtuoso draftsman and a creator with unsuspected graphic freedom.

Particular attention is paid to the sanguine technique, which Renoir favored from the 1880s onwards for its flexibility, thickness and resonance with the representation of the chair and the nude. Admired by his contemporaries, these works fascinated Bonnard and Picasso in particular.

art3f Kortrijk 2026 poster

For its 4th edition, art3f returns to Kortrijk and confirms its status as a major contemporary art event in Belgium . The fair will welcome numerous painters, sculptors, photographers and gallery owners from Belgium, France, the Netherlands and elsewhere, offering a true mosaic of styles and artistic sensibilities.

Like other art3f fairs, Kortrijk stands out for its friendly and accessible atmosphere : visitors can interact directly with the artists, discover their techniques, and immerse themselves in diverse creative worlds. This warm, professional yet relaxed atmosphere breaks with the rigidity of some traditional fairs, offering a human and enriching experience.

Diversity is at the heart of this edition: contemporary paintings, monumental sculptures, photographic works, recognized signatures and emerging creations. Passionate collectors, art lovers or simply curious people will find material to nourish their inspiration and experience true favorites.

By hosting art3f for the 4th time , Kortrijk is establishing itself as a key city on the artistic circuit in Flanders . Located in the heart of Belgium and close to the French border, it benefits from an international reputation that attracts a wide audience, from knowledgeable collectors to visitors in search of discoveries.
